The Racine R/C Club, What We're All About.

Press "Ctrl" and "F5" on your keyboard to be sure you are seeing the newest additions to the website.

Click on our logo above and then click on the Print button of your browser to print out a copy of the Club Handbook in a doc format. This is 42 pages long so think before you print. If you receive a message that says you are forbidden to view the document try disabling your internet security system (Norton) and then try it again. This time the document should come up so you can print it out.

Welcome to the Racine R/C Club Web Page. This page has been put together for the benefit of club members as well as visitors who are interested in radio controlled aircraft. We have many types of aircraft, in a variety of sizes, that fly at our field including airplanes, helicopters, sailplanes, and combat planes just to mention a few.

The field is completely taken care of by the membership of the club. This includes grass cutting, and grounds up keep in general.

The property is owned by the Village of Mount Pleasant. The Village of Mt. Pleasant is kind enough to let us use this land in exchange for the help of two of our club members at their compost site for a total of four hours each Wednesday of the summer months.

If your interested in getting into radio controlled aircraft or just want to learn about the hobby itself, swing by and see us! We're always happy to see visitors. You can also see the following site for more information on getting started in RC. http://www.easyrc.com/airplanes/index.html

Flying hours at our field are 9 A.M til sunset. It is best to come out and visit when the weather is nice and not too windy. Most members fly after 4 P.M. but many of our senior members can be found there anytime of the day. We fly all year round. Yes, even in the winter. As long as the road is cleared many members will fly their craft with appropriate ski-landing gear attached.

Club meetings are held once a month. These are held at the field during the summer and at the Mt. Pleasant Village Hall in the Winter. Come check us out!

Please send us E-mail below if you have any questions or comments about our hobby or site. Thanks!
